The Signature Scent Workshop Booking Terms & Conditions

Summary

  • Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
  • Cancellations: We offer a full refund (excluding any platform fees incurred by The Perfume Workshop) or reschedule if you notify us at least 48 hours before your session.
  • Late Arrivals: To respect the 60-minute window, we have a 10-minute grace period. If you arrive later than this, we may need to shorten your session or treat it as a no-show.
  • Allergies: You are responsible for notifying us of any skin sensitivities. We always recommend a "patch test" of your creation.
  • Age: Attendees must be 12+ (unless otherwise agreed). Under 18s must always be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Full Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings and Payment

All workshop sessions at The Perfume Workshop must be paid in full at the time of booking via our online system. Your spot is not confirmed until payment is received. All prices are in AUD and include GST.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that life happens. However, as a small boutique studio with limited spots:

  • More than 48 hours notice: You may reschedule your session or request a full refund.
  • Less than 48 hours notice: Cancellations or reschedule requests made within 48 hours of the appointment are non-refundable. You may, however, send someone else in your place.
  • No-shows: If you do not show up for your session without prior notice, the full booking fee is forfeited.

3. Punctuality and Late Arrivals

Each workshop is strictly 60 minutes.

  • Please arrive 5 minutes early to settle in.
  • If you are more than 10 minutes late, your session time will be reduced to ensure the next booking can start on time.
  • If you are more than 20 minutes late, it will be considered a "No-show," as there will not be enough time to complete the perfume-making process.

4. Health and Safety (Allergies)

The Perfume Workshop uses high-quality fragrance oils, essential oils, and perfumers' alcohol.

  • By booking, you acknowledge that you will be handling and applying these materials to your skin.
  • It is the participant’s responsibility to notify the instructor of any known skin allergies or sensitivities.
  • The Perfume Workshop is not liable for any allergic reactions. We provide "patch test" areas and recommend testing your blend on a small area of skin before full use.

5. Creative Outcome

The beauty of perfumery is its subjectivity! While Adla and the team provide guidance and education on scent profiles, the final scent is your own creation. We do not offer refunds if you do not like the scent you have created.

6. Right to Refuse Entry

To maintain a creative and safe environment, we reserve the right to ask any participant to leave if they are acting in a disruptive, intoxicated, or disrespectful manner. In such cases, no refund will be given.

7. Photography

We love seeing your creativity! We may take photos or videos for social media. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please let us know at the start of your session.
